I still use my google calendar but prefer to keep it in a Monthly view. Each Sunday, I sit down, open up my google calendar and write the upcoming week's events into my paper weekly planner. As much as I'd love to stop using an electronic calendar, it's the easiest place for me to accept meeting or event invites by email + I share a google calendar with my partner so I don't see myself quitting it anytime soon.
Of my two weekly planners I've tried, the Travelers Company dated weekly and the Hobonichi Weeks, I haven't had any pens bleed through at all!
The pens I use the most are: MUJI Gel Ink Ballpoint, MUJI Smooth Gel, Sharpie Pen, Uniball Signo Gel 207, and Uniball Signo DX 0.38.
and for fountain pens are: Lamy Safari, Platinum Preppy, and a Kaweco Sport with each of their original inks. I also use MILDLINER highlighters with no issue.
Also, how do you deal with links for events on your calendar? I'd love to get away from the electronic calendar.

For your weekly planner, what kind of pen do you need to use to avoid bleeding?
